About the Show

ComedyCazi is a live, monthly comedy show created by Emerson College alumni Sam Kusek and Gideon Bautista in 2012 and held in the Davis Square's premier comic shop, Comicazi. In each show, the stories are written, but the dialogue is improvised. Born of a love for comic books, Saturday-morning cartoons and improvised theatre, each episode is a tribute to that unforgettable, sometimes violent programming from our childhood that totally had no lasting effects!

The ComedyCazi Podcast is an adaptation of selections from our live shows into an audio-fiction format. Each episode is an original story from another universe, be it space-faring science fiction, 90s teenage serial, or sword and sorcery fantasy. We’re custom tailored to the tastes of your inner child, but with your grown up sense of humor.
